जहाँ होनी थी बेफिक्री सी जिंदगी,
वहाँ ठानी कमाने अनमोल रोटी।
जहाँ एक एक पल बिताना था खेल में,
वहाँ झोंक दिया बचपन काम की व्यस्तता में।
जिन हाथों में कलम थी पकड़ानी,
वहाँ इन्होंने पकड़ा दी जीवन की अनगिनत परेशानी।
जहाँ लाड़ के स्वर पड़ने थे कानों में,
वहाँ हर ओर थी डांट डपट की पुकारें।
जहाँ बालपन में करनी थी मासूम गलतियाँ,
वहाँ सुनी अनजानों की कड़वी बोलियाँ।
जहाँ अनगिनत स्वप्न सजाने थे आंखों में,
वहाँ दिखा मुश्किलों का सैलाब रात के अंधेरे में।
कर्म जो इन नन्हे हाथों से करवाए,
वह दूर खड़ा क्यों मुस्कुराए?
नहीं चाहिए इन नन्हे हाथों की कमाई,
जो छीन लेती बचपन की परछाई।
लघु से बचपन के यह कुछ सुनहरे पल,
जी लेने दो इन्हें मस्ती में निश्चल।
बाल श्रम एक ऐसी समस्या है जो देश के उज्जवल भविष्य पर एक ढ़ाल बनकर खड़ी है। जहां बच्चों को अपना बचपन खेलकूद और पढाई में व्यतीत करना चाहिए वहीं कुछ परिवार पेट भरने के लिए उनके नादान कंधों पर काम का बोझ डाल देते हैं। यह कब मजबूरी से लाचारी का रूप ले लेती है, उस परिवार को भी पता नहीं चलता। आक्रोश तब जाग उठता है जब पढ़े लिखे लोग बाल श्रम को बढ़ावा देते हैं उनको नौकरी देकर।
पिछले तीन दशकों में यह स्थापित हो गया है कि बाल श्रम का उन्मूलन किया जा सकता है। हमें केवल मूल समस्याओं पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने और उन्हें हल करने में मदद करने की आवश्यकता है। इस वर्ष की थीम ‘सभी के लिए सामाजिक न्याय तथा बाल श्रम का अंत’ जैसी मूल समस्याओं पर केंद्रित है जिससे आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए एक सुशिक्षित भविष्य सुनिश्चित कर सके। बाल श्रम जैसे अभिशाप को जड़ से समाप्त करने की जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए प्रत्येक वर्ष १२ जून को बाल श्रम निषेध दिवस मनाया जाता है।
आईये जागरूक बनें और बाल श्रम को जड़ से मिटा दें।

A very meaningful post on Child labour… but the issue in India is that even if we try to help the underprivileged children their families come up with one single question….. Kam nahi karega to Ghar kaisa chalega.? Its a burning question and answering it is difficult… you can support 1,2,3,4 or perhaps 10 to 15 children education cost and I also do that… But is that enough? This question is still unanswered to me
