अच्छी बुरी परिस्थितियाँ जीवन के चक्र को पूर्ण करती हैं और हमें बहुत सारी सीख़ दे जाती हैं। कई बार ऐसा होता है कि हम गलत रास्ते की ओर आकर्षित हो जाते हैं लेकिन हमारी अंतरात्मा हमें गलत राह पर चलने से रोक देती है।
जाने क्या सूझा बटुवे को भला,
जा पहुँचा कालू की जेब में सुनकर उसकी व्यथा |
विचलित मन में जागेगी आशा की किरण,
आज ठानी करना सबके स्वप्न पूर्ण |
आशा भरी आँखें टकटकी लगाए,
चौखट की ओर देखती बिन पलक झपकाए |
आज तो इसके घर में होगी बहुत बहार,
छाएगी चाँदनी आँगन में इस बार |
जब हर सपने बिखरे जैसे रेत के टीले,
रास्ते ओझल और मार्ग हुए हटीले |
काँपते हाथों से कालू ने जब बटुवे को खोला,
प्यासी आँखों को जैसे सुकून ने टटोला |
मुन्ने की हठ और गुड़िया की पढ़ाई,
अर्धांगिनी की मुस्कुराहट बटुवे में नज़र आईं |
आज हर मर्ज़ की दवा है इन हाथों में,
जैसे फूल खिला हो उजाड़ आँगन में |
ना; यह क्या, सोच ज़रा यह तेरा तो नहीं,
किसी और के रास्ते पर अपनी मंज़िल नहीं |
बोला मन, कालू डिगना मत तू इस बार,
कहीं खो न जाए विश्वास अपनों का, होशियार |
इस मिले बटुवे की ललक ठीक नहीं है,
मेहनत में जो खुशी वो इसमें नहीं है |
बन्द कर बटुआ, बन्द कर दिए आकर्षण,
फेंका बटुवा दूर, सोचा ना फिर एक क्षण |
बटुवे ने ली विदा अपने दोस्त से,
बोला जल्द लौटूँगा सही तरीके से |
न डिगा पाया, न डिगा सकूँगा,
उस अटल मन पर नतमस्तक रहूँगा |

I am reading a Hindi poem after a long time. Ye kavita padh ke bahut hi acha laga, bahut hi pyare tarike se aapne bataya ki kaise mushkil paristithiyo mai hamara mann kai baar dagmaga jata hai par agar hume khud pe bharosa ho to hum mann ko haavi nai hone dete. Loved it!

Simple words with a loaded meaning. The found batuwa is easy to gain, but the guilt piles up. Your poem with simple metaphors says that one should not take the easy way out, even if the road ahead is tough. There are no shortcuts in life.
